Welcome to Spring time...

Spring is here already...September 1st heralds so many new beginnings...

Longer days, renewed energy & fresh spirits awaken our senses to the burst of colour around us, in our gardens, cooking, entertaining, our wardrobes. Interiors & fashion celebrates with kaleidescopes of rainbow hues in florals & everything brighter than Winter's longer wanting to be cosy inside, it's time to open the doors & windows, & let nature's revitalising touch filter through in colour, fragrance & life. Yes, it's time to shake of the winter blues & embrace the season of Spring...

  1. This is so funny reading about the factthat it is spring time for you.
For a moment,I thought you had gone mad, you see I put up a post today about the end of summer.
Then I remembered that you are on the other side of the World and that the seasons are different for you.

I shall enjoy reading all about your spring while I go into the autumn and when you talk about your summer I shall be deep in winter here, but I will know where to come to remind me of summer days.

    Much love,
    Lia xx

  2. Hi Lia, thanks for your lovely comments. I love early Spring, but Autumn is my favourite season. Look forward to exchanging seasonal chats:-) Best wishes, Claire

  3. 'Bathe in all the tides of nature, at all seasons' (Thoreau) .. outside now is just blue blue sky and not a puff of cloud .. how indulgent. Love the pic Claire .. shall we do Paris in Spring next year?
